The variety of cloths available today gives an added touch of class to your proposed pool table purchase .You are spoilt for choice as it appears every colour is available—black, red, purple ,orange amongst many others. However the best sellers are still green or blue cloths. The Artscape option also opens a myriad of designs for your table –you can literally have any design reproduced on to the cloth. This option is not cheap but it is growing in popularity with many pub companies insisting it is used in their themed bars.
Our customers still prefer the quality napped woolen cloth. Darker colours have grown in popularity with black and purple requested frequently. For the purists green ,green or green is the only choice!!

Nylon speed cloth is increasing its’ popularity—partly due to its’ use at professional tournaments. The playing characteristics of this cloth are very fast. To some this makes it more skillful—but for others this simply isn’t an option.

For discerning home buyers, cloth swatches are available for different options to blend in with your pool table and home décor. The swatches are a guide only as each batch direct from the suppliers differs slightly.

Whatever your choice, proper care of your cloth will result in a truer playing surface and longer life. Chalk is an abrasive and needs to be removed from the cloth regularly .We recommend you regularly check your cue tips as they can easily rip the cloth if not smoothed off. Brushing regularly ‘with the nap’ on wool cloth and brushing from the D end on nylon cloth will ensure playing qualities are maintained.
